Decorative map of the south-west of Western Australia, south from Geraldton. Probably the most accurate popularly available map of the settled parts of Western Australia for the period. The Tallis map was continually revised from 1849 and went through numerous editions. Contains seven vignettes including a view of Perth from Kings Park, Fremantle, Aborigines, Sheep shearing etc.
The settled counties are hand-coloured in outline.
