Large, Second World War  U.S. Navy ship's bell with an original bracket.
To conserve brass during the war, the Navy caused to produce ship's bells cast in iron. The contracter was the Harvard Lock Company.
Marked in relief casting: U.S.N. and Harvard. Lock. Company.
Good condition and finished in a bronze/gold paint.
Together with the scarce original cast bracket.
New lanyard.
