Heroic figure of a fisherman on a dock, bowline in his right hand and a boathook in the other. Conceived on a grand scale with the bearded fisherman in sea-boots looking imperiously towards the shore.
Modelled in the grand manner that was fashionable during "la Belle Epoque".

Undated but c 1900.
Some wear to the cold-painted finish.
