BRITAINS GLORY.

Produced as a consequence in the rise of patriotism gendered by the Crimean War (1853-1856). The Staffordshire potteries produced a range of pottery figures using their traditional colour palette depicting sailors and soldiers and the military and naval commanders.

Flatback. Some crazing to the glaze. Firing fissure. A little wear to the black enamel of the hair, scarf and shoes.

Height. 260mm.

No repairs.
