A six page sheet music issue with a coloured lithographed cover depicting naval officers waltzing with young women with the fleet in the background.

Popularised in English music halls by the singer Felix McGlennon in 1897. The tune was composed by Edward St. Quentin.

It was amongst the more popular WW1 patriotic English songs.

The Australian Rules Football Club Footscray used the tune for the club's theme song "Son's of the S'cray", changing it to "Son's of the West" when they became the Western Bulldogs.

It is also the base tune for the anthem of Highbridge Football Club, Bristol , England.

Simply bound with a sewn cloth spine. A little water staining and a few incidental marginal tears.
