Riva Trigoso is a small town to the east of Genoa, Italy and the site of a large ship-building industry.
Horn was used extensively for tourist souvenirs throughout Italy, Argentina, Uruguay and to a lesser extent Spain in the early part of the twentieth century. This is a typical example using cow horn and brass wire and rod to make the model. Aesthetically well balanced. Artisan made.
