A fine quality stick made to a sophisticated design. The shaft is a single substantial piece of whalebone carved in faux sections and inset with baleen plugs. The handle, also of whalebone, is carved with two clasped hands and the finial surmounted with a carved baleen flower, unscrews to reveal a cavity within the clasped hands.
