A good  full circle brass protractor of English manufacture. In a mahogany case. The protractor is marked by the reseller, Carl Werner & Co, Melbourne. Werner started as an optician in Ballarat in 1870 and went into partnership with Henry Parker, the firm known as Parker & Werner. After Parker's death in 1902, the firm became Carl Werner & Co. They were opticians, optometrists and scientific instrument sellers.
Good conditio with traces of the original laquer finish.
